Good to know: In the case of travel vaccinations, the patient first pays for the vaccine and the treatment by the doctor and later settles this with the health insurance company. Vaccinations must be recommended by a physician in order to be reimbursed by insurance companies. That is why travel medical consultation is important and obligatory with us before the first travel vaccination. Please note: there are health insurance companies that do not reimburse or only partially reimburse the consultation. However, reimbursement rules may differ between health plans.
